We are so lucky to have had the pleasure of calling John our amazing neighbour - he was one of a kind and we feel honoured to be apart of so many memorys with him.  

When we first moved next door to John in 2017, he quickly introduced himself by knocking over for a brew, we couldnt believe just how lovely and happy he was full of stories for us. From that moment John became a huge part of our family life too and we often popped in to sit with John and if we hadnt, then he would come to us to ask how we all were too!!

John became much loved by our two children especially our little boy Mylo who John would salute like a soldier to him. Mylos favourite thing to do was re arrange all his ornament dogs by the fire, John used to laugh and laugh!

The most amazing times were spent listening to Johns war storys and his growing up storys, we loved hearing all about Edna and how she was as a person - he spoke about his family and their memories throughout the years.l a lot it was always lovely to hear. Tommy and John became football besties and John would often knock over for the game (and ofcourse his brew and biscuits) 

but i think the best memory for me would have to be when the new swing and slide set arrived for the kids and John spotted it from upstairs, he came knocking asking if he could sit with us in the garden. He loved watching them play on their new toy!

We will miss you so much John
